Provincial politicians have gathered back in Edmonton for the Fall sitting of the Alberta Legislature starting Monday, October 29.

The usual suspects of the Trans-Mountain Pipeline, the carbon tax and the upcoming election will be hot topics.

Also on tap, will be tuition rates for universities and other post secondary institutions, as well as legislation protecting patients from sexual abuse at the hands of health care workers.

And a private members bill on "conversion therapy" is expected to come up.

The controversial practice, which is banned in Manitoba and Ontario, centres around the belief psychological or spiritual intervention can change someone's sexual orientation or gender identity.

The Fall sitting is scheduled to run until December.
