After a wet weekend, The M.D. of Foothills lifted it's fire ban Monday morning.

The fire ban was put in after last week's heat wave which made conditions extremely dry.

All open fires will now be allowed by obtaining a burning permit issued by a fire guardian.

As always all burn permits are free.
