Grass fires are still a concern for some spots of Southern Alberta, particularly in the Crowsnest Pass.

In the Pass a wildfire is out of control west of the Town of Coleman between it and the Sentinel Industrial Park.

Residents of Willow Drive, McLaren Ridge, Carbondale Trailer Court, and MacGillivary Flats have been evacuated, and people in West Coleman are being told to be prepared to leave on a moments notice.

Fires throughout Wheatland County which includes Gleichen are under control.

All residents may return to their homes.

Workers and Fire fighters are still on scene

A stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway east of Strathmore between Highway 21 and Range Road 214 has reopened but caution is advised because of smokey conditions.

In the MD of Willow Creek the Moon River Estates fire is under control, but residents aren't being allowed home yet.

Fires in Hilda, near Medicine Hat are under control, with all residents evacuated.

And the evacuation order for the Acadia Valley near Oyen has been lifted.
