Like most, Town Councillor Carrie Fischer is hoping for the same outcomes that have been expressed by residents and fellow Councillors.

Among the conversations of discussion include annexation and the proposed potable water pipeline.

Fischer says both of those elements to help Okotoks insure healthy growth.

"Just making sure we're able to provide safe drinking water to the new developments that are coming on stream and making sure that we've got land available to provide safe and secure housing for people who are looking for it within the Town," she says.

One highlight from 2015 for Fischer was the addition of three more RCMP Officers for the Okotoks detachment.

She says its nice to know the Town will be a lot safer with more staff on board.

"Reinforcing the need to work with the community and talk to the community and understand what their needs and desires are its through that conversation that we realized that having the right amount of RCMP is necessary."

Fischer says she would like to see a couple of Town projects finish and get the green light in 2016.

"I hope to see competition of the annexation and see the water pipeline funding come through."
