Five youth have been arrested following a robbery at the Rogers Communication Store in Okotoks.

Officers were called to the Southridge Drive store at around 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Monday, where four male youths entered the store, demanding phones and assaulting two employees.

They fled the location in a vehicle, taking several phones and other devices with them.

Both employees were left with minor injuries.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle at a residence in Southeast Calgary, with help from the HAWCS helicopter, where Calgary Police Service made the arrests.

Search warrants of both the vehicle and residence turned up over $70,000 worth of cellphones and devices.

According to the Okotoks RCMP, all five individuals are facing the following charges:

-Robbery x2

-Forcible Confinement x2

-Uttering Threats x2

-Mischief under $5000

-Flight from Police

They've been remanded into custody, and are scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Friday, October 16.

Their identities cannot be released, in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
