Conservative Members of Parliament launched the Alberta Jobs Task Force last month and now they're taking it to the people.

Foothills Conservative John Barlow says they're going to host roundtables across the province asking Albertans for their stories.

"Certainly everyone understands the jobs crisis that we're facing in Alberta, we've been facing it for the last 18 months to two years now and we've really had so many people across the province talking to us as Conservative Members of Parliament about what's going on and saying they're not getting any feedback or any assistance from the federal government," he says. "So we launched the Alberta Jobs Task Force this fall and the Conservative members are going across the province hosting these roundtables, asking Albertans what are some of the things they're facing."

He says they really want to get their ideas and proposals and suggestions on policies and programs we can put in place and try and get Albertans back to work.

He says they'll compile the information they get from the roundtables and putting it into a report to submit to the Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister as they prepare the next budget.
