The Seventh Annual Leather 'N' Chaps Riding For Snaps Motorcycle Poker Rally had the streets of High River roaring on Saturday.

This event raises funds to support programs offered at the Foothills Special Needs Association for Parents and Siblings.

About 60 bikes and 90 people came out on Saturday to support the fundraiser.

Although the event takes place in High River, Executive Director Orvella Small says they are not limited to one community.

"Foothills SNAPS holds this event here in High River because this is what works for us, but we serve families from the edge of Calgary South and it's currently 827 families...around 2,700 people."

Small says SNAPS offers support to families in many different ways.

"We do the best we can to support them. If we can't do it, we hook them up to other services...it's important to know that we aren't the only service, but that we support families to get connected in the right place."

The fundraising goal for this event was $25,000, but no fundraising totals have been released to date.

The all-day event also included a pancake breakfast, a barbecue, live music and games.
