Representatives from the Calgary Regional Partnership's regional transit pilot project will be holding an information session at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex Thurs. Nov. 5.

The On-It transit system will provide bus transportation for people from Nanton, High River, Okotoks, Black Diamond and Turner Valley to the south end of Calgary's C-Train line.

High River council gave its approval to joining the system at its last meeting.

Residents can find out more about the system, which is expected to be running by September of next year, at the open house from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

High River town councillor Emile Blokland will also be on hand to answer questions.
