There are all kinds of ways for voters to cast a ballot in High River in the upcoming municipal election.

Chief Returning Officer Kara Rusk says advance polls will be set up this Sunday, October 8, at the Highwood Memorial Centre from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

She says they'll again be using the computerized vote tabulation machines.

"We will have one open for the advance polls. And then we'll have two running on election day. And hopefully we can get the results out quickly after the polls close."

Mobile polls will go to the High River Hospital and the Sunrise Village seniors home on the Monday, October 16, while incapacitated or housebound voters can contact the Town in advance and a team will come to your home to make sure you can cast a ballot.
