Golfers of all shapes, sizes and handicaps will take to the Highwood Golf and Country Club this Friday for the Foothills Advocacy In Motion Society charity golf tournament.

Gerry McCollum with AIM says money raised at the event helps support their programs helping foothills residents with developmental disabilities get and keep jobs.

"The community is a very generous community and we feel very well supported by this region, but this is really a chance for you to come out and say 'ya, you know, we really want to support the AIM society and we believe that people with disabilities should live in the community and work in the community with regular jobs, just like everybody else'," he says.

McCollum says he knows there are a lot of fundraising golf tournaments out there so they try to make it as much fun as possible for everyone who takes part.

This is the 24th edition of the AIM charity golf tournament and there are still spots available.
