Turner Valley Council Candidate Lana Hamilton is frustrated over the Town's taxes.

She says everything seems to go up, every year.

"So, whether that's you know, analyzing our spending. You know, trying to find ways to get these taxes lower. I want to do something about those costs."

Among her platform planks, Hamilton is also pro amalgamation, and would like to see more development both on the residential and commercial sides.

She'd also like to see increased park space and recreational facilities as well as encouraging tourism.
