A wildfire moving towards the hamlet of Hilda in Cypress County northeast of Medicine Hat near the Saskatchewan border has caused an evacuation order to be issued.

Residents are being asked to evacuate immediately to the Cypress County office in the hamlet of Dunmore.

They are asked to travel south on Range Road 11 to Township Road 162 then make your way to Highway 41.
