Lot's of road work being done in the Hamptons Hills in Northeast High River these days.

The developer, Landsdowne Equity, started by replacing storm sewer and sidewalk infrastructure.

They've now moved on to replacing roadways.

Company Executive Vice President, Don Sandford says, it's taken since the flood for them to get deals in place to start the work.

"We've actually got to the point now where we have a settlement in place that will soon enable us to actually rebuild the roads in Phase II of Hampton Hills. And you can see that under construction today, and will be completed likely by the end of August. And then we'll be transferring that phase of the development to the Town of High River because we will have completed any of the deficiencies related to the curbing in that area."

He says they'll also be "de-silting" the area's storm pond, and working to connect the storm sewers to the Little Bow River.

He says some of the money came from a settlement with the Province and with the contractor who first built the road, with the rest coming from Landsdowne.
