Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has made it's way to the bookshelves of the High River Public Library.

The play which just went on sale Friday, July 31 has made it's way here but there's a bit of a waiting list.

Program Coordinator, Joyce Brown says while they have a lot of copies in the system there are other options.

"The library does have the book and in fact there's 95 books in the system but they're all out and there is a waiting list.

And while you're waiting the Library has all the other books, they have the movies, they have audio books and the books are great for all ages."

The play is set 19 years into the future and centers around Harry Potter's youngest son.  Yes, Harry Potter has a family that includes four children.

While the play isn't written by J.K. Rowling she does give it her endorsement.

Brown says if you want to get on the waiting list but don't yet have a library card it only costs $15 for adults, $25 for a family and $5 for a child.

The High River Public Library is open Monday to Friday from 10a.m. till 8p.m. and Saturday from 10a.m. till 4p.m.
