With rural crime being a very big issue these days, there's one group out there looking for your help to make it better.

The Foothills Rural Crime Watch Association needs your help.

Corrie Fisher with the group says they're always on the look-out for new members.

"We have a $20 a year membership fee. Which includes fan out information, which we're working very hard to get out to people. We're hoping that it's going to be a phone, email and text system."

Fisher says your $20 gives you a "Foothills Rural Crime Watch Association" sign for your property and helps support the organization.

They have a Facebook page and a website for those looking for information, updates and the latest on crime in and around the Foothills.

The group is holding their Annual General Meeting Monday, March 26, at 7.p.m., at the Oddfellows Hall in High River, and Fisher says everyone is welcome to attend.
