Thousands of people visit the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site each year.

As Canada prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary, the federal government wants to know how we feel Parks Canada should work to protect present national parks, and historic sites For the next 50 years.

Public consultations will be held from January 9 to January 27, 2017 so that all Canadians have a chance to make their views known.

Later this month, Parks Canada will release the State of Canada's Natural and Historic Places report to help inform discussions at the consultations.
