High River council is back to its regular fall schedule Monday (Sept 12) afternoon.

First up is a public hearing for changes that are being proposed to the Spitzee Crossing Area Structure Plan.

Two key changes are being planned for the Neighbourhood Outline Plan including boundary changes for the high, medium and low density areas.

They're also looking at a reduced number of alleys, and the addition of an internal pathway system.

This afternoon's regular meeting starts with a delegation from the 187 Foothills Squadron Air Cadets looking for approval for a Freedom Of The City designation.

Prior to the Little Britches Parade in May a march would be held to Town Hall where a formal freedom request would be made at the door.

A formal inspection would be done and the proclamation issued giving the cadets freedom of the city.

The meeting starts at 3 o'clock in the council chambers at the town administration building.
