A name familiar to Police is back on their wanted list.

RCMP say they're once again looking for 31-year-old Cole Stuart Mclean of High River.

Police say McLean was released from a detention centre on Sunday, July 28 on his own recognizance with conditions.

He was waiting to appear in court for numerous charges out of Calgary.

Sergeant Jason Cann with the High River RCMP says it would appear Mclean never checked in for his curfew.

"So he was out on recognizance and then he didn't show up for his curfew and at that point we sought out a warrant and started looking for him." Cann says this isn't the first time they've had to search for him after breaching his conditions, but they're powerless when it comes to keeping him in custody.

"We know when he's coming into the community ,and we'll do checks on any conditions that may have been imposed upon him, and we enforce those conditions as best as possible. He goes into kind of a high risk offender program with us where we make daily checks on him."

Cann says they are certainly familiar with this situation and to many it can be a repeated frustration.

"I think it's certainly a frustration for most of our officers but we remain professional and just keep doing our job."

High River RCMP were made aware that Mclean never checked in for his curfew within four days of being released.

They say he is now being considered at large, and will likely face four counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

The High River RCMP are warning the public not to approach Mclean if seen and to call local police immediately.

Police are encouraging any members of the public who have information about the whereabouts of Cole Stuart Mclean to contact the High River R.C.M.P. detachment at 403-652-2357.
