One of High River's "scariest" Halloween houses is back and ready for action Wednesday, October 31.

Chris Doll, owner of the Halloween house at the corner of 10th avenue and 5A Street S.E., says his passion for Halloween started young and he always wanted to own a house that he could use to share his Halloween passion with others.

"My wife loves Halloween as well. In fact, we got married on Halloween nine years ago and had our wedding photos taken in a graveyard. Since then, we've been growing our collection."

The house has a giant spider on the front yard as well as a dinosaur skeleton and much more. Doll says the kids always end up screaming.

Doll welcomes all but adds, "many people are upping their halloween game in High River so we aren't the only scary house in town. It's exciting to have other people to compete against now and we encourage everyone to visit all the decorated homes."
