High River's indoor riding arena doesn't appear to be in any danger of collapse.

Ag Society President Ted Evans says the arena in High River has a steel support structure, which allows it to hold a larger snow load than the wooden arena's that collapsed in Millarville and Okotoks this week.

He says they've already offered their services to those left homeless in the wake of the collapses.

"We've reached out to the 4H clubs and whatnot out in Millarville. These boards all need to work together and we're definitely here to help fill the spots, as these community people need places to ride and do archery and do their dog training and all that good stuff."

Evans says even with a stronger building they've been monitoring it for any signs of weakness through the Winter to make sure it's safe.
