Among the Vendors at the Little Britches Parade is a relatively new Purveyor and his specialty is lemonade and people were lined up to support the young entrepreneur.

Highwood High School student Ryan King says he was given an assignment in a competition recently.

"I had made the lemonade stand for a carpentry competition and I really didn't have a use for it. I thought of Tate when I made the stand so I thought I'd donate it to him."

He says it took about five hours to make and with a little help from a local sign company they officially named it Tate's Lemonade Stand.

"I've always bought lemonade at his stand during the Little Britches Parade and he's only ever had a little table and umbrella so I thought I'd make him a full out stand."

He says he did such a good job the Judges took notice.

"I got fifth place out of eighteen students in Southern Alberta, I was one away from placing for Provincials."

Tate's Lemonade Stand was set up in memory of Tate's Mother who passed away from cancer.
