Residents in Drake Landing have been hit with two different acts of indecent exposure in the community over the past two months.

On Tuesday at around 8 p.m., police say a man walked towards two girls near the soccer fields with his genitals exposed. The male didn't say anything to the girls or had physical contact with them.

Okotoks RCMP Sargent Sukh Randhawa says they believe the two different times of the exposure may be connected, but this cannot be confirmed.

He reminds the public to not engage the perpetrator if it happens again, but to get away and call RCMP.

"Do not engage with this person at all," he says. "Call 9-1-1, if there is anybody who is an adult nearby, go and ask for help, if you are in area where there's a lot of businesses, go to the nearby businesses and ask for help.

The man accused is described as a white male in his 30s, 5'6" with a wide build, slightly overweight. He was wearing shorts and a Minecraft T-shirt with the "Creeper" character on it and he might have drove away in a dark, mid-sized SUV.

The matter is still under investigation.

If you have any information regarding the crime you're asked to call Okotoks RCMP at 403-995-6400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
