It's "Anti-Bullying Week" at schools across the country, including Highwood High School.

Principal Brian Brandford says they have a lot going on.

"The theme this week is 'Stand up to Bullying.' So we're starting that during our morning announcements every day to make the kids aware. We've got a 'Pink Shirt Day' Wednesday. We're going to supply to every Grade nine in our school pink shirts, the rest of the school was provided with pink shirts last year for pink shirt day, and we're asking all the kids to wear them."

Brandford says they'll wind up the week Friday with pancake breakfasts for all the students and then letting them out early so they can take in the opening game of the 3A Varsity Boys Volleyball Tournament.
