Another nice donation to the local Salvation Army Wednesday morning from Western Financial.

Thanks to their employees paying $10 each to wear jeans every day for a week to work, they managed to raise $1,171.

Salvation Army Captain Corey Fifield says he loves it when money just comes in out of the blue like this.

"They just respond, obviously to what they're seeing in the community and we've obviously been talking a lot lately about our Christmas kettles and our Christmas hampers, the things that we do this time of year. Raising funds, but those funds are going right back out the door to serve people at this time of year. So, when people step up at this time of year without us calling on them, that's awesome!"

Western Financial also donated a truckload of food, which Fifield says is badly needed at this time of year.
