A large scale police operation is underway this afternoon (Tuesday March 6) in the Town of Okotoks.

Two men and two women are in custody facing property, and drug related charges as police execute a search warrant at a residence.

Police are warning the public that there will be a large police presence in the south railway area of town while the search takes place for four to five hours and they are asking that the public avoid the area..

An update will be provided once the search has been completed and charges have been laid.
