The High River Library is partnering with the Southern Alberta Law Offices to answer questions about family law.

Program Coordinator Joyce Brown says Brant Field J.D. will be coming to the library on March 22.

"He'll answer any questions on separation agreements, divorce, property and spousal support, parenting and child support, out of court options, basically anything that has to do with family. If you have a question and want to know a lawyers opinion on it, you can come and get your questions answered."

She says they will be partnering with the law offices on an ongoing basis.

"The Southern Alberta Law Offices will be coming in basically once a month to offer courses on different topics that pertain. The next one will be on wills and estate in April."

Brown says the law offices wanted to partner with the library as a way to help out the community.

"The lawyers wanted to give back to the community. They called and asked whether we would partner with them and the library is all about providing information for people in the community and this seemed like a perfect partnership."

Brown says the library is happy to provide the Basics of Family Law this month, and people can call the library to register at 403-652-2917. The session will begin at 6:30 p.m.
