Still no movement from the Province on returning EMS dispatch services to the local area.
Through May and June the Foothills Regional Emergency Services Commission and Alberta Health Services have had a dispute over what local officials say are slow dispatch times in the rural area.
Alberta's Chief Paramedic Darren Sandbeck says there have been talks.
"We've been having operations level meetings with the Commission over the past month or so now, just to work through the issues and understand what the concerns are and then how we can find solutions to address those," Sandbeck says.
Four municipalities have successfully negotiated to keep their fire and EMS dispatch services and the Foothills Commission would like to do the same.
