At least one fire crew from the Foothills is heading to Fort McMurray to help out with the wildfire situation there.

Crew five from the M.D. of Willow Creek Fire Department, along with their Fire Chief Travis Coleman are enroute to the area.

So, far no other fire crews from the area are heading up, but that could change as the need increases for relief for fire fighters already on the ground.
