The 100 Women Who Care organization presented their donation of $5,100 to The Narrow Road Transitional Home on Friday June 29 2018.

The organization founder Karen Love says the group was founded on the concept of giving back to local charities "We meet four times a year, and select and vote on a local charity the women are interested in, each member then makes a personal donation of $100."

This time around 51 women decided to contribute to the Narrow Road home, a place that specializes in removing women from lives of addiction, trauma and abuse.

Administrator for the home Sherri Tanner says one of the main focuses of the home is volunteering "we love to give back, which is our mandate here, when women come in we set them up to be able to volunteer and work in the community."

This August, the Women Who Care will meet again to cast their votes on which charity will be the next to receive their contributions.
