Alberta Party Leader Stephen Mandel will have to wait until the end of this week to find out if his court case from Friday, February 22 was successful.

Mandel went to court to fight a five-year suspension from being able to run for public office because he did not file all of his required financial paperwork on time with Elections Alberta.

The judge that heard the case has reserved her decision until the end of this week.

In the meantime, candidate Tim Meech, here in the Livingstone-Macleod riding is facing the same five-year ban.

Another Alberta Party member had their five-year-ban overturned earlier Friday.
