Alberta Party Leader Stephen Mandel will have to wait for a week to find out if his court case on February 22nd was successful.

Mandel went to court to fight a five-year suspension from being able to run for public office because he did not file all of his required financial paperwork on time with Elections Alberta.

The judge that heard the case has reserved her decision until the end of next week.

Candidate Tim Meech in the Livingstone-Macleod riding is facing the same five-year ban.

Another Alberta Party member had their five-year-ban overturned earlier in the day.
