Just how to rebuild is a question the Millarville Ag Society is looking into as their riding arena is slated for demolition.

The arena's roof collapsed on Monday, March 19 thanks to a heavy snow load and word has come through the rest of the building needs to come down.

Millarville Ag Society President Brent Foster says they're figuring things out as they go.

"The rest of the building is going to be demolished. We are just waiting on the go ahead from the insurance company to go ahead and do that."

The building was put up in 1985 and things have changed since then.

"Requirements have changed somewhat since then. We hold different things in there."

They're looking at the things that they need to have, would like to have and their wish list, but all of that can add to the cost of the project.

Foster adds it's a bit stressful with event season kicking off soon and it would help if the snow would finally melt.

A committee has been struck to move forward with the building process.
