The Alberta Government is expanding their program of $25/day day care into more spots around the Province.

The initial pilot program, launched in the spring, didn't include any day care centres in the Foothills, but with the addition of some federal cash, the Province wants to add another 4,500 spaces Province wide.

They've put applications for day care operators on the government website, looking to expand from their current 22 sites, to eventually have 100 sites across Alberta.
