The Alberta Government is looking for more feedback on their occupational health and safety recommendations applying to farms and ranches.

On the Alberta Government's website they say, the recommendations outline how best to apply Alberta’s workplace standards to the agricultural sector while recognizing its unique characteristics.

The recommendations were created after consultation with technical working groups made up of representatives of the ag sector, labour groups, and technical experts.

The original deadline for public feedback was Monday, January 15, but has now been extended to February 26.

The Government say, all changes made to regulations will be done with those in the farm and ranch industry.

To view the recommendations, you can visit their website. Your feedback can be given on the website, or by emailing farmandranch@gov.ab.ca.
