MP's will be taking their seats in the House of Commons Monday, January 28, as the Winter sitting of Parliament gets going.

However, they'll all have brand new views as they've been moved into a temporary Commons, as the old one is undergoing what is expected to be a decade long renovation.

In the meantime, debate over relations with China is expected to be front and centre during question period, with the PM having to answer some hard questions, particularly in the wake of the firing of Canada's Ambassador to China, John MCallum, over the weekend.

The economy, deficits and oil should also be hot topics heading into the session.
