The Town of High River has undertaken a survey on Municipal Enforcement.

The Director of Community Services, Lisa Reinders says they felt it time to do it.

"This area hasn't been reviewed in a number of years and so we're asking the public to give us an idea of what they feel is important and it really is a good time to look and see how we can improve Municipal Enforcement in High River and design a model that really meets our needs," Reinders says.

Students were hired to ask people at Canada Day festivities to take part in the survey and other surveys were sent out.

We asked them about Municipal Enforcement and what they felt their priorities are," she says. "Do you feel animal control is a priority or community safety, or nuisance or unsightly premises or parking management or traffic control, just getting them to say what was important to them."

Reinders says they'll be compiling the information into a report to be presented to council in September.
