The Federal Liberals will roll out their budget Wednesday, March 22.

High River Chamber of Commerce President, Steven Muth, who was no fan of last week's NDP Budget, here in Alberta, isn't too excited about the federal version either.

Muth says even with plenty of bad news expected, he's telling his members to muddle through as best they can.

"Don't scrap any plans for investing in your business, but be prepared to react. And adjust accordingly to whatever realities come out."

Muth says he's expecting to see hikes to the employers portion of Canada Pension Plan and Employment Insurance contributions, but the Liberals could also follow through on a cut to the small business tax rate from 10.5 per cent to 9 per cent, as recommended by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
