After a long wait, with months of consultations and planning the Town of Nanton is hitting the big time.

Mayor Rick Everett says coffee lovers will be pleased.

"Now coming out of the ground is the Tim Horton's. The roadways and alleyways have all been designed, the curbs are all in and the foundation is now being worked on and there's fencing all around with a big sign saying Tim Horton's coming soon!"

Everett says he's not exactly sure when the new Timmy's will open, but he's optimistic for sometime in October.
