It took close to a month, but the Nanton RCMP finally got their man, or woman in this case.

Back on November 21, a Nanton resident called the Mounties after her house was broken into and stuff was stolen.

Five days later Calgary Police arrested 23 year old Jessi Dawn Byron on an unrelated incident, however city police say she was in possession of items stolen from the Nanton home, and is facing a charge of break and enter for that.

Police believe Byron knew the victim.

Byron's been released and is scheduled to appear in Fort MacLeod Provincial Court, Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
