A few dozen UCP supporters turned out in High River Tuesday, October 30, for a meet and greet with one of the nomination candidates for the Livingstone-Macleod Riding.

Nathan Neudorf was in town, pressing the flesh, looking for votes.

He says coming into the race late, means he just has to work harder.

"All I can do is work as hard as I can. Be as honest and open as I can with the people that I meet and work on building momentum. And it'll really be up to the constituency members to vote who they think is the best representative for them."

While Neudorf did most of the talking on the night, he says listening is really job one.

"That truly is the essence of what democratic government is meant to do. Take the time to find the people, go to where they're at, listen to them, find the root of their problems and help come to a solution and represent them."

Neudorf from Lethbridge is up against Okotoks, Thomas Schneider and Claresholm's Roger Reid.

The party faithful are expected to vote for their favourite sometime in November.
