Four men have so far let their names stand for the leadership of the new United Conservative Party.

Livingstone Macleod MLA Pat Stier says he still hasn't made up his mind on endorsing one candidate over another.

"I have not at this present time although I have been travelling with Mr. (Brian) Jean prior to the campaign period starting and I was very supportive of Mr. Jean," Stier says. "We were doing a tour of my riding and I'm certainly very supportive of Mr. Jean and what he's been doing in the past couple of years since I've gotten to know him."

He says there'll be more events where the two will be coming around and he'll be talking to people there about where he stands on the various issues but says he hasn't come out with an endorsement yet.

Stier says once he does decide who he's supporting, he'll try to stay neutral during the race.

Brian Jean, Jeff Callaway, Doug Schweitzer and Jason Kenney are vying for the leadership.
