It may be four months away but the Okotoks & District Chamber Of Commerce is already busy filling spots for this year's Trade and Lifestyle Show.

Chamber CEO Cheryl Actemichuk says the show has been a hit with local businesses for years and expects a number of businesses to participate again this year.

"Over 150 vendors participate in the Trade and Lifestyle Show, we have everybody from one person businesses to 60-70 person businesses like Costco and Walmart and its a great opportunity for not a lot of money to come and see other businesses in town," she says.

Actemichuk says the Trade and Lifestyle Show is just for showcasing businesses either.

"We have educational workshops, we have the festival of flavours of course where people can sample food from various restaurants, so there's a lot of things going on at the show," she says. "We added a third arena this year for a mini car and RV show so that should fun as well."

Actemichuk says she encourages businesses whether a member of the chamber or not to act now before the entries are full.

"For a chamber member if you are looking for a table, its $295 if you're looking for a booth it's $500, if you're not a chamber member the prices go up slightly but of course we give discounts to chamber members so there's another reason to join the chamber."
