An Okotoks woman is facing charges after a traffic stop on Friday.

Around 8:30 that night Okotoks RCMP say they stopped a vehicle for speeding and began a drug investigation where they placed her under arrest.

Through their search police say they discovered 25 grams of crack, a small amount of marijuana, scales and other drug related items.

Close to $2,000 was also seized as proceeds of crime.

RCMP say Lori Dodds, 49-years-old,  is facing one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Dodds is scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on July 15.
