There's just one town council meeting this month in High River and it's jammed packed.

Council will be asked approve an interim 2018 Operating Budget.

Mayor Craig Snodgrass said after the election it would give the new council a chance to get up to speed and changes could be made when needed in the new year.

They'll also look at passing a bylaw setting out rates and fees for town services and they'll get to show off an award the town received for financial reporting.

A delegation from the Community Vitality Fund will be on hand to present its 2017 overview.

They'll also ask about an increase in their budget and a policy recommendation.

The meeting starts at three o'clock Monday afternoon in the Council Chambers.
