The folks with the "Field of Dreams" charity ball game happening on Saturday, May 26 in Okotoks were at the Tim Horton's on Southridge Drive Friday, May 12, launching some new themed donuts

The charity game features Calgary Flames and Calgary Stampeders current players and alumni squaring off, so the local Tim's was inspired to come up with new donuts to support the cause.

Legendary Broadcaster Peter Maher was on hand and says he's looking forward to calling the game.

"We're going to have a little bit of fun up there introducing the players and telling stories and carrying on with the game. Certainly when I heard about it and the athletes and former players that were going to be involved I was really excited about it."

Former Flames Broadcaster Peter Maher will be making the call at the big "Field of Dreams" event May 26th in Okotoks.

The game's a 7 o'clock start at Seaman Stadium.

But the gates open at 5 p.m., with a chance for fans to meet the players and watch the home run derby.

Former Flames, Lanny McDonald and Jamie McCoun, and of course Okotoks own "Bearcat" Murray along with Stamps like Bo Levi Mitchell, Keon Raymond and Kevin Glenn will all be taking part.

Tickets are just $15 for reserved seating, $10 for general seating and $5 for kids.

These two picked their donut's with the Flames on the left, and the Stamps on the right.
