RCMP are asking drivers to be careful travelling on local roads Monday, April 16.

Roads in and around Okotoks, High River, and the rest of the Foothills are covered with heavy snow and slush.

The snowfall warning states about 10- 20 centimetres of snow is possible for the region.

Plows are out working to keep local roads clear but police are reminding motorists to slow down and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations.

Go to the Road Reports and Cancellations page for the most up to date road conditions and where the snow plows are as well as check out the latest weather conditions.
