823 people have now recovered from the COVID-19 virus, about half of Alberta's reported totals of people still with the disease as of Sunday, April 12.

82 new cases were reported, bringing the provincial totals to 1,651.

Unfortunately, four more people have died from COVID-19, including two at the McKenzie Towne Continuing Care Centre, bringing the total number of deaths at that facility to 20.

44 people remain in hospital, with 14 in the ICU.

Locally, the High River Zone has 44 active cases, with two people recovered.

The Okotoks-Priddis zone has eight active cases with four recovered and the Black Diamond zone has seven active cases with two recovered.

No deaths have been reported in any of the local zones.
