The UCP's candidate in the Livingstone-Macleod riding says he's ready to roll when the Spring election is called.

Roger Reid says he never really quit campaigning once he won the nomination.

"During the nomination contest I treated it like we were running in a general election. So, I've already been engaging people in the riding in terms of their concerns and starting some files that we can start to deal with when the government is formed this Spring. With the exception of the hiccup of this cold weather, it's been great to get out and meet people in the riding."

Reid says he's keeping busy getting his campaign team together and signs printed up with the election expected to be called next month, with a vote likely in mid to late April.
