It's that time of year again for canine owners in the town of High River to renew the license on their dogs.

Dog licenses from the previous year expired on December 31, and owners have until January 31 to renew licenses for their dog for the year of 2019.

Fines for not keeping a current license can range from 100 to 250 dollars, and not having a visible license on the dog's collar can net owners a 75 dollar fine.

New licenses must be purchased in-person at the town office, and are required for any dog over the age of three months old.

If you just need a renewal, it can be done at the town office, or online by clicking here.
