As those 2000 plus cyclists make their way down to Okotoks Saturday afternoon, drivers should be aware of what roadways the Ride to Conquer Cancer will be using.

Before even finishing day one, organizers have announced donations of $7.8-million for cancer care and research.

The ride starts at Canada Olympic Park, then the riders will head out towards the Trans-Canada Highway.

After that the ride will take Highway 22 through Redwood Meadows to Bragg Creek, followed by a stop then the ride will continue to Priddis on Southbound Highway 22.

Once their past Priddis the ride will make it's way to Millarville then heading on Highway 7 towardsTurner Valley and Black Diamond.

Cyclists will then carry on highway 7 until they reach Okotoks as they reach their final destination at Pason Centeninal Arena.

Drivers are asked to be aware of their surroundings and watch-out for bikes and cheering sections during the ride.
